Nudity is disappearing on social media, apps and websites, due to controversial New Law recently approved by their House of Representatives of The United States Of America to which now it extends beyond outside the United States of America. And it’s deep and concerning!

 

Censorship of online services – According to the concept of chastity in The United Sates, sexuality is inherently dangerous. Now the Internet is being incensed accordingly to their very own beliefs and it is affecting people’s lives worldwide.

Nipples, forbidden. Ribald speech, forbidden. Sexually explicit images, prohibited. Even a mother Breast Feeding  her own child in public has been a huge controversial subject.

Today’s tight rules of chastity do not seem very sensible and correct outside of the United States. However, that is what they are, thanks to the American giants of the Internet, more specific the way to manipulate social media in particular, over the last few years, They have pushed their community standards far stricter than ever before.

An Argument very well manipulated and used it against the rest of the world, The rules of service are global, the strict chastity of Americans is now being obeyed worldwide!

But there are big differences between cultures and The American Law makers must understand and Respect each and every culture. In many European countries, sexual health and sexual education are  normal normal subjects even in schools. They are included in the primary school curriculum.

In most cases, nudity is so neutral that bare skin is ignored unless you try to cover it.

In other words, in the United States A child can see his mother naked only once in a birthing room and that is it. It has been unlawful to The child to see his own mother naked. An adult who appears naked to a child can even be criminalized by law. Schools’ sexual education is largely based on abstinence and the teacher cannot even mention sex without the consent of the guardian. which now even schools have been censured and use other terms of words when speacking on Nudity and Sex.

Why are there double standards?

The roots of American chastity culture are deeply rooted in the country’s Puritan history. They believe sexuality is inherently dangerous and problematic.

Over the past two years, restrictions on censorship all over the Internet has been tightened to near amusement. There are numerous examples, perhaps it might sound unreal for those whom have been connected since Internet Appear for the first time.

Last year, Facebook and Instagram announced they were restricting the use of peach and eggplant- emoji.

The Fruit and The vegetable emoji may no longer be distributed on the service in any context, as the emojis  have acquired by transgender associations. Facebook justified the act by eradicating human trafficking a completly different subject to which leds them to ADD to their plattform THE DATING NEW FEATURE.

Restrictions have been opposed by numerous campaigns and We are raising our voices louder and louder.

Last spring, for example, the #wethenipple rally against the nipple banning on Instagram gathered naked protesters laced with “men” in front of The Facebook headquarters.

When social media services prohibit user-shared sexual content, nudity is packed in porn-focused sites. Commercial media like Facebook and Instagram are meant to sell audiences to advertisers. Community standards have been created with commercial content and advertiser terms in mind. We want to create the best possible framework for the products we sell.

Because after all, a climber doesn’t want to advertise on a page eating ass. That’s pretty clear.

The websites justify restrictions on market protection as “Community standards”. For example, Facebook says it wants to provide its users with a “safe” platform.

Standards thus define nudity as a potential danger. Particularly dangerous are the bare nipples of “female bodies”. On the other hand (if it’s are not double fisting), the pictures of  a really dangerous situation such as guns or fire arms which resemble most of the time anger and a wish to kill something or someone these images are confusingly okay and accepted.

There has been a particularly radical evolution over the past year in the sexuality and nudity circulating the Internet (website censorship).

A little confusing, this is the reason and it can be found in the peculiar and original letter combination FOSTA-SESTA.

FOSTA-SESTA, which is a law passed by President Donald Trump’s administration in spring 2018 and approved by the United States Senate with 97 votes to 2. This allows  the censorship on the Internet to be traced directly to this law. FOSTA-SESTA stands for the only purpose to Fight Against Online Sex Trafficking Act. The primary purpose of the law, as its name implies, was to prevent trafficking and prostitution on the Internet.

In practice, the law sought to do this by removing the exemption that protected websites. For decades, the law exempted websites from liability if any user uploaded illegal content to the site.

The side effects of the change on Internet culture was almost immediately showing the disagree of the people. The Senate voted on the bill on Wednesday, March 21. As early as the following week, Microsoft was reported to be restricting the sharing of sexual content on proprietary services affecting billions of big users of this APP We are Talking about Skype.

Google Drive is also believed to have tightened restrictions on content sharing on its service shortly after the legal reform.
All these restrictions are being made by Facebook and its Instagram, and the same was done by Tumblr. Affecting billions of its users worldwide.

For these major companies and platforms, removing all sexually explicit material was their easy way out rather than to monitor all the content and publications to be potentially related to Human trafficking-related.

So that’s why the regulations are now affecting across the globe to its Non-American Users. American companies are cautious. The censorship of online services is understood when you think of the American legal system. In the United States, legal cases are most susceptible to nervousness. Even minor breaches often lead to legal actions and litigation. Because court indemnity can be insanely high.

The original purpose of the FOSTA-SESTA Act was to prevent human trafficking on the Internet. Now, however, this has led, among other things, to the fact that sex workers, for example, cannot warn each other about dangerous clients in peer support groups online. Many online helping groups have been removed because the content being shared seems to violate community standards in the United States.

The law up until today has not been successful in reducing sex trafficking advertising or illegal prostitution, writes a Business Insider.

The Internet has secured the work of sex workers. When selling services online, for example, sex workers can check the backgrounds of their clients in advance. This is much safer than, for example, sex workers on the street.

A counter own site has been set up for FOSTA-SESTA. According to Stopsesta.org, there is no way to reduce trafficking by silencing people. Enabling public chat may increase prostitution on the Internet, but openness also protects sex work and makes it easier to find victims, the site says.

Through technology giants and experts like Facebook and Google, US laws extend their complex censorship worldwide to the lives of all of us living outside the United States and using these Platforms and Online Services.

Now that more and more of people’s social lives take place on platforms that are dictated by American culture, morals and law, what about We others? What about the cultures of other countries, which have typically been fairly calm about nudity? and also finding no offense for nudity and sex content believing it is natural and completely normal.

Social media services, in today’s world play a massive central role, people-to-people communication and culture.
